October 2011

  • From October 16-18, 2011, Dr. Andrew Williams and his SPELBOTS Team from Spelman College, offered the conference "Humanoid Robotics" at Ana G. Mendez University System facilities. For highlights of this activity, click here.
  • On October 1 and 8, a total of 38 pre-college students were impacted with this four-hour workshop offered by undergraduate scholars Maxine Gonzalez and Edgardo Vazquez. For highlights of this activity, click here.
  • Since October 1, 2011, a total of 17 pre-college students are participating in the Informatics Olympiads preparation at the Universidad Metropolitana Campus, being mentoesr by Dr. Luis De la Torre, Computer Science and Mathematics Faculty Member. For highlights click here.
